General Questions

Q - How does Westpoint Offer Protection to it's Investors' Funds?

A- The entire process is designed to protect investor funds.  Westpoint Capital ensures that all of the mortgage investments are registered on title against Canadian real estate and invests in a diverse portfolio of mortgages.  The loan underwriting department follows a strict due diligence process analyzing the quality of the borrower via credit bureaus, net worth statements and income information.  Another crucial step is to confirm that a solid exit strategy is in place, along with a feasible backup plan.

The mortgage registration and funding process are always executed by lawyers.  As an additional safeguard, our process includes the use of title insurance, thorough evaluation of the property's value, and obtaining personal and corporate guarantees, as applicable.

Q - What types of returns can I expect to earn?

A- All investors in Westpoint Capital will receive fixed returns up to 15%, depending on the amount of capital invested and the investment term chosen.  Please see our Investor Return Chart for more details.

Q - Can I re-invest my dividends?

A- Yes, the dividends can be automatically re-invested thereby taking advantage of the compounding effect on the dividend yield.  Many investors prefer to have their dividends re-invested for this reason.  Please se our investor return charts for further details.
